This is more than a scene study class.
This is a return to the body, your instrument, and an invitation to unlock the full range of your expressive power.
Embodied Acting: Scene Study is a 4-session, in-person workshop designed for actors (ages 16+) of all experience levels who want to deepen their relationship to text, character, and presence through the lens of somatic technique.
Using a blend of scene work and embodied practices, we’ll break down the process of approaching a scene—from the first read to final performance—through grounded, sensory-driven exploration.
In this workshop, you'll explore:
✨ How to connect with your body and breath as the foundation of your performance
✨ Techniques to cultivate focus, presence, and emotional truth
✨ Uta Hagen–based tools that invite spontaneity and grounded storytelling
✨ Ways to dissolve self-consciousness and awaken your creative impulses
✨ A complete process for breaking down scenes from the inside out
Whether you’re auditioning, returning to your craft after time away, or seeking a more embodied connection to your work, this workshop offers a supportive and transformative space to grow.
🎟️ Tuition: $97
Limited to 10 participants for individual attention and space to explore.
✨ No financial barriers—everyone is welcome.
